Pepecar trusted Milú for the complete development of its new business vertical, a marketplace for car rental launched in 2021 after the impact caused by the pandemic in the car rental sector.

Personalized experience based on research
Choosing a car is not easy and not only because of the huge range of vehicles, types and brands. The future client, in addition to that, also has to opt for different property alternatives: renting, cash purchase, financing…
For our client’s business model, in addition to transparently explaining the pros and cons of the leasing model, it was very important to know what motivates users to decide on a specific leasing offer. Know your fears, your expectations, the type of driver you are or the use you are going to make of the vehicle.
All this allows us to offer a car offer selection experience in which drivers are at the center.
And we were able to acquire this knowledge thanks to user research with our UX research team.
One of the biggest challenges of the project was to obtain and unify the different information that suppliers offer to Pepecar in order to integrate it into the new web ecosystem.
Pepecar is a marketplace where offers from different providers are presented, each with a different format and information.
In order for all these offers to coexist, we first laid the foundation thanks to the design of an information architecture in which we classify the different facets of each vehicle offer, something that will later allow us to offer fully customizable navigation to users and a rapid implementation in the case of having a new supplier.
Our back-end development team made sure that these integrations work in conjunction with the client’s CMS.

A project that begins with an understanding of business needs, continues to study users, is designed following the best UX practices and a modern interface, and ends up being implemented thanks to the team of front-end and back-end developers.
The project also does not end with delivery as we continue to iterate on it to bring improvements for users and the business.
Conversion oriented
Designing the customer experience trying to eliminate any point of friction allowed us to focus on users moving quickly through the e-commerce funnel. This journey through the funnel provides us with a multitude of data and insights thanks to the implementation of advanced analytics where we can measure the behavior and interests of customers.
Thanks to this data we can iterate the page looking for increases in conversion rates, or implement up-selling strategies as we have also done.
